It's Odd and it has finally arrived! For the past few months I have been completely immersed in my own little Odd world. I am taking a fashion magazine minor at the Amsterdam Fashion Institute and along with 3 other editors and a whole team of 26 students making up the Odd company, we have created a magazine that will be sold internationally.

Odd aims to connect with extraordinary personalities in the creative industry. Based on the six degrees of separation theory, we explore six connections between seven peoples lives and styles. These seven key people are the core for a magazine about fashion, photography and illustration inspired by personal stories about creative life. It’s just a little bit Odd.Odd represents imperfection. It is about androgony and curvy figures, it combines both the masculin and feminine. It celebrates strange subtle details that make you look twice. It is inspired by style icons of the past like Jean Michelle Basquiat, Katherine Hepburn, Bob Dylan, Brigitte Bardot and Peter Beard. Odd loves 50’s pompadors, 60’s eyelashes, 70’s long flowing locks, 80’s lipstick and 90’s bleached hair. Odd is about being yourself and expressing your unique personality through the clothes you wear. Odd is about talent from the future and icons from the past.
